This, like most blogs, is the home of my rants, raves and other random (bodacious) posts.
Here’s the lowdown: I’m fun. I enjoy my work (thoroughly). I enjoy everything about everything I do. It doesn’t matter what I write about, writing is my passion If that means sometimes I am a little strange, I welcome it. In fact, I’ll share a little fact about me right now: I’m strange.
Anyway, as my writing continues to evolve, my blog and my website will evolve with it. The content will change, the layout might change from time to time, but I’ll still be writing 10, 15 years from now and I plan on doing it for the rest of my life.
So, why “The Purple Dragon?” It’s a little inside, to be honest. The very first poem I wrote in the 4th grade was entitled “The Purple Dragon” and I thought it would be the perfect name for my blog, seeing as how I have decided to commit to making this blog permanent. While the poem itself has long since been lost among all the clutter of time, the title and its meaning still hold clear in my mind. Perhaps I will be able to recall the words again someday.
Since this is my first entry, I thought I’d keep it short. I also have a lot of work to do before I get my website online June 3. Still, it’s good to be back in the blogging biz. I look forward to seeing where it all goes.
